HOMESCHOOL
I keep reading about all these cool field trips that homeschoolers get to go on and I decided to leap out there and plan one! Yes, I did. I got two other friends who have boys around Beanster’s age and we took a little trip today. It was sort of a litmus test as to whether we would take a second one and it went SO well that we’ve decided to do another one…after we recover from this one.
Our field trip was an indoor one because it’s winter and we wanted to keep everyone warm. We loaded up, all 6 of us, in a minivan and took off for Pensacola N.A.S. (Naval Air Station). There is so much to see there and the boys had a blast!
Needless to say, the boys had a great time looking at all the planes, especially the Blue Angels!
The one thing I learned is that they do still have a long way to go until they grow up!
There was plenty to see and it was a little tough to corral three boys who were so excited to look at everything. It didn’t end up being very educational, but it was a great time for them to all socialize and get to know each other better.
Next time, I plan to have something educational for them to do. The next trip will, once again, be dependent on the weather. I have some outdoor field trips I would love to plan and there will be plenty of things to do. Since none of them can read yet, I thought a scavenger hunt with pictures on it would be a lot of fun for them! We’ll see what ensues!
Peace and love, everyone! Have a great evening!

Wow, good for you! It certainly looks like you had a great time!
